FWDLink does not permit sexually explicit content or pornography on the Platform. We do not host user-uploaded sexually explicit material, and we do not operate a custodian-of-records program under 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A or 28 C.F.R. Part 75 for that kind of content.
This page is informational and is not legal advice. It explains why those federal record-keeping rules are not applicable to FWDLink's hosted user content under our policies.
1. Not applicable
Sections 2257 and 2257A address record-keeping for producers of visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct, as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2256(2)(A). Because FWDLink prohibits such content, those producer record-keeping requirements do not apply to material hosted on the Platform as a supported use case.
2. Platform policy
Sexually explicit content is prohibited under our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. Uploads may be screened with automated tools and human review. Violations may result in removal, account action, and reporting to authorities where required by law.
FWDLink is used for creators and businesses (link-in-bio, memberships for non-explicit content, CRM, invoices, bookings, and similar). See Child Safety & Non-Consensual Content Policy for absolute prohibitions involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, and trafficking.
3. Identity verification
Where we collect government ID and selfie checks, those flows support payouts, Stripe Connect, business verification, and fraud prevention. See the Age Verification Policy and Privacy Policy.
