Report Content & Takedown Requests

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Use this page to tell us about content on fwdlink.com that is illegal, that shows you without your consent, or that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy. Anyone can report — you do not need a FWDLink account, and you do not need to be the person who posted or the person depicted.

Copyright claims follow a separate legal process. Use the DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy for those.

Start a report

Fill this in and it opens a pre-written email to our review team. You do not need an account. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Nothing is sent until you send the email. If your device cannot open a mail app, email support@workfotos.com directly with the same details.

1. Reports we treat as urgent

The following are handled ahead of everything else, and the content is restricted while we review rather than after:

  • Content that appears to involve a person under 18. Sexual content involving minors is never permitted, including drawn, fictional, or AI-generated depictions. When we identify apparent child sexual abuse material we remove it, preserve the account and related records, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and to law enforcement.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery. Intimate or sexual images shared without the consent of the person shown, including images obtained by hacking, hidden recording, or shared after a relationship ended.
  • Trafficking, coercion, and exploitation. Any indication that a person appearing in content is being coerced, trafficked, or exploited.
  • Credible threats of violence or imminent harm to a person.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also report child exploitation directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

2. If you appear in the content

If you are shown in content on the Platform, you can ask us to remove it, whether or not you previously agreed to appear:

  • You never consented. Tell us and we will restrict the content while we review it.
  • You are withdrawing consent. Tell us and we will remove the content from public view. We will also notify the uploader that the content was removed at the request of a depicted person.
  • You want to know what records exist about you. Ask, and we will tell you what consent or identity records the uploader submitted in connection with content you appear in, subject to verifying who you are.

We may ask you a small number of questions to confirm that you are the person shown before we release information about records. We do this so that the process cannot be used against the person depicted.

3. Other reports

  • Impersonation — an account pretending to be you, your business, or someone else.
  • Private information — your address, phone number, ID, or other private details posted without permission.
  • Harassment, hate speech, self-harm promotion, and spam — see the Acceptable Use Policy for the full list of what is not allowed.
  • Fraud or a payment problem — for billing issues use the Refund & Cancellation Policy instead.

4. What to include

Reports move faster when they contain:

  • The exact URL of the page, post, album, or item.
  • What is wrong with it, in your own words.
  • Whether you are the person shown in the content.
  • An email address we can reply to.
  • Any deadline you are working to (for example, a legal or law-enforcement request).

Do not send copies of intimate images to support the report. Send the URL. We can see the content ourselves.

5. What happens after you report

  1. Acknowledgement. We aim to confirm receipt within 1 business day.
  2. Triage. Reports in section 1 are escalated immediately and the content is restricted while under review. Other reports are queued for review.
  3. Review. A human reviews the content against our policies and, where relevant, checks the consent and identity records the uploader submitted.
  4. Action. We may leave the content up, add a label, restrict it to age-confirmed viewers, remove it, suspend monetization, suspend the account, or terminate it. Where the law requires it, we preserve records and notify authorities.
  5. Outcome. We aim to tell reporters the outcome within 7 business days, and sooner for section 1 reports. Some investigations take longer, and we may not be able to share details of another person's account.

6. If your content was removed

If we removed or restricted your content and you believe that was a mistake, reply to the notice we sent you, or email support@workfotos.com with the subject line Appeal a content decision and an explanation. A different reviewer will look at the appeal where that is possible. Removals for content involving minors are not eligible for reinstatement.

7. False and abusive reports

Reporting content you know is not violating, or filing reports to harass a creator, may result in losing access to reporting tools or to your account. Deliberately false legal notices can carry liability under the law that applies to them.
