Plans and storage overview

FWDLink plans combine media storage, team seats, and business tools. You can start on Starter and upgrade when you need more capacity or seats. Exact prices and promotions can change — always confirm on the live Plans page and in Account Settings → Billing.

Storage add-ons (for example 100 GB or 500 GB) may be available on paid tiers when you need capacity without changing every other plan feature. Check Billing or Plans for what is offered on your account.

What storage is for

Your storage quota covers media and files you keep in FWDLink — photos, videos, documents, and related uploads in Records / albums. When you hit the limit, new uploads can fail until you free space or upgrade.

Tips:

  • One high-resolution video can use far more space than dozens of still photos.
  • Deleting albums or files you no longer need reclaims quota.
  • Encrypted / locked albums still count toward storage while they hold media.

Where to check your plan and usage

  1. Account Settings → Billing → Your plan — see the active plan and upgrade options.
  2. Account Settings → Storage — see used space versus your limit.
  3. Plans — compare Starter, Pro, and Business side by side before you change tiers.

Example

You are on Starter with 2 GB. After a season of job photos and a few 4K clips, Storage shows you are nearly full. You delete old draft albums, then upgrade to Pro (50 GB) from Billing when you know you will keep growing the library.

When to stay on Starter

Stay on Starter when:

  • 2 GB is enough for your current albums.
  • You are exploring FWDLink pages, CRM basics, and sharing without a large media archive yet.
  • You mainly need one user seat.

Starter is designed to get you online; storage and seats are the usual reasons to upgrade as you grow.

When to upgrade

Consider Pro or Business when:

  • Uploads fail because you are out of space.
  • You need more seats for teammates.
  • You want the higher storage tiers (50 GB or 250 GB) and any paid-plan benefits shown on Plans (such as fee differences on certain payments).

Always verify current fees, creator notes, and CRM/booking terms on Plans — this article is an overview, not a price sheet.

Sharing and vault notes

  • Everyday albums can use Public, Private, or Password share links on any plan that includes sharing — see Sharing an album.
  • Encrypted / Locked album is about privacy of storage, not a separate paid “vault plan.” Encryption does not remove the need for enough storage quota.
  • Organizing albums well still matters on every tier — see Creating and organizing albums.

Troubleshooting

I upgraded but Storage still shows the old limit
Refresh Account Settings, confirm the workspace you are viewing, and check that the subscription is active under Billing → Your plan. If it still looks wrong after a few minutes, contact Support.

Payment succeeded but features look unchanged
Sign out and back in, or reopen Billing. Confirm you are in the workspace tied to that subscription.

I need more space but not more seats
Look for storage add-ons on Plans / Billing if available; otherwise choose the tier whose included storage fits.
