A Craigslist alternative for services, classifieds, and customers

Craigslist vs FWDLink

Photos and a city, on both. A Page, a leads inbox, and an invoice are here.

Frequently asked questions

• How is this different from Craigslist?

On Craigslist the ad is the listing. On FWDLink you keep a Page for your work, post Marketplace classifieds, and read quote requests and listing messages in Leads, then send an estimate or invoice when it is a job. FWDLink is a separate product and is not affiliated with Craigslist.

• Can I post a service in my city?

Yes. Create a Page, describe the service, add job photos, and turn on Available for hire. Pick the city where you work. You can add up to eight other cities you serve. Neighbors browse those Pages on Local Pages.

• Can I post something for sale?

Yes. Post a for-sale listing on Marketplace, add photos, and people can browse it by city along with other classifieds.

• Where do leads show up?

In Leads. Quote requests and listing messages land there. Contact-form messages do too once you have a workspace. The person sending a quote request or the form does not need an account. With a workspace, you can move from that lead to an estimate.

• Can I send an invoice?

Yes. Estimates and invoices are in FWDLink, and you can attach the photos. If a customer pays online, the fee depends on your plan. Current rates are on Plans.

• How long does a listing last?

A listing lasts 30 days, then you renew it, and your Page stays up.

• Can people browse by city?

Yes. You pick the city where you work or sell. People browse Local Pages and Marketplace by that city. You can add other cities you serve, up to eight.
